North East Sediment Dam

CPH Mining & Civil completed the North East Sediment Dam project between May 2018 and March 2019, focusing on effective erosion and sediment control within a 430Ha catchment area. This project involved constructing a 348ML valley dam to capture and treat runoff, aligning with GRM erosion and sediment control plan standards.

Key services provided by CPH include:

• Bulk earthworks for the dam embankment and drainage upgrade
• Construction of a release structure for controlled water discharge
• Implementation of sediment traps for system maintenance and de-silting
• Upgrading low-volume road access to the dam and sediment traps.
