Lifesaving support
When emergencies strike, the BMA CQ Rescue helicopter is often the first on the scene, even in remote areas.
Since 2020, CPH Mining & Civil has been a Gold Sponsor of BMA CQ Rescue, contributing each year to help keep the chopper in the air.
For our Founder Colin Ritson – a former nurse and Operating Theatre Manage – this support is personal. For Colin and the entire CPH team, it’s about supporting services that save lives.
From accident response to urgent medical evacuations, the BMA CQ Rescue helicopter team plays a vital role in the region – and we’re proud to back them.

- 2025 Moranbah Campdraft:We’re sponsoring the 40th Anniversary Bronze Titles. This is a much-loved event that celebrates local horsemanship and e’re proud to be on board again this year.
- Rugby League Mackay & District RISE Program: CPH supported the North Queensland RISE carnival in Townsville – helping young athletes build skills, confidence and resilience.
- 2024 Moranbah Rodeo: Our team got behind this community favourite with sponsorship and hands-on support, making it a great day out for locals and visitors alike.
