SRM Southern Pit Geometry Optimisation Project

Overview

CPH Mining & Civil worked on this environmental and mine optimisation project at the Saraji Resource Mine in 2020, which included a creek diversion to optimise the southern pit area’s geometry and layout.

Key services provided by CPH for this project included:

  • Construction of a new low-flow channel for the diverted creek
  • Topsoil management and revegetation to create a new floodplain
  • Building levees to contain the diverted creek during flood events
  • Light vehicle road construction with concrete box and metal pipe culverts
  • Supply, welding, and installation of new DN315 HDPE pipelines
  • Relocation of an existing DN630 pipeline.
